Challenging new role with the premier sports car manufacturer to ensure the realization of active safety systems. A brand new role for the company, you will therefore be responsible for defining targets, ensuring you are aware of what competitors are doing to ensure the best possible results are achieved. You will ensure safety is consistent with the product requirements, defining the specifications of components and ensuring the functionality associated with the various vehicle systems (ADAS – cameras, collision prevention, lane departure).

Primary Responsibilities:
– Develop optimal solutions of components and systems in respect of the performance targets, quality / reliability, time and cost
– Interface with the passive safety in order to ensure an integrated safety performance
– Analyze the state of the various active safety components and offer the best solutions to achieve the objectives set
– Interface with the “Marketing Product” for the definition of different content
– Provide technical and functional specifications to be used in the phase of industrialization
– Support during testing of the systems designed
– Support in the process of assistance with problems emerging on the Net
– Interface with partner companies and software and hardware vendors
– Ensure, in collaboration with the responsible agencies of the aspects of chassis performance and vehicle compliance with performance targets, quality / reliability and cost
– Implementation of assistance systems to optimize safety and driving comfort
– Defining and measuring data acquisition systems (sensors)
– Definition response systems to the outside (actuators)
Your Profile:
– Bachelor in Engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics)
– Experience in the field of active safety 26262, ADAS – cameras, collision prevention, lane departure
– Knowledge of the main automotive communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, MOST, …)
– Knowledge in the field of modeling and prototyping of control systems
– Knowledge of simulation software and development of assistance systems – able to guide suppliers, main expertise should be in hardware
– Orientation to result and problem solving
– Good interpersonal skills, communication and working in cross team
