This unique opportunity to work with a prestigious supercar manufacturer requires a degree qualified engineer with a real passion for cars and good knowledge of whole vehicle test to utilise their skills at the highest level.
You role will be to benchmark cars from competitors, identify potential new state of the art products in their developing state and define a measurement plan to share with the companies different business functions. You will organise the testing plan, liaise with production to get the requests for different testing, work within the drivers and engineering to place sensors on the car to perform specific tests
This challenging role requires a degree qualified engineer with a real passion for high performance cars and expertise in whole vehicle tests.
Know the plan for innovation, growth and development components car projects to define the content and type of vehicle to be tested as a benchmark
Study the information provided by marketing the product on the luxury car market trends
Propose a test plan and measures useful for defining the internal target of achieving the objectives of excellence.
Implement in time the objective test plan using the Vehicle Experimentation resources and other departments in charge of the measurements / detail analysis
Organize and implement the subjective test plan that includes the participation of opinion Business leaders
Gather documentation and organize it on a server so that it is always available for easy reference.
Mechanical engineering degree
Excellent knowledge of high performance cars
Aware to new innovations in the market and new “state of the art” components
Whole vehicle test knowledge – able to understand weight, basic performance, braking, acceleration and be able interpret new tests as they come in from the factory
Pc literate – Ms office including Excel
Extremely organised, you will be manage the testing plan, managing all the data and reporting, filing all the reports, organising the test draw, make sure all the documentation is filed so it can easily be found
Fluent English and Italian
