The role of Body RPA (Responsabile Progetto Applicato – translates as Project Responsible Manager) with prestigious supercar manufacturer requires an experienced engineer and project leader used to a dynamic environment. Operating in the Body development team ( (the focus in on interiors – i.e. seating, climate control, instrument panel etc) you will lead the project functional teams throughout the product life cycle, from concept through to production. A dynamic and passionate character, you will have the resilience to work in a challenging environment with constantly changing requirements. You will be based in the heart of the companyat the prestigious state of the art Maranello facility. The work is purely working on the GT V8/ V12 and development road cars taking projects from a cradle to grave. Typical projects are 2-3 years and will cover working with all major stake holders in a unified car delivery. They operate in small dedicated teams so ownership will be the full 360 for your expertise area. Your role will demand input at a detailed engineering level and also needs someone who can manage change and deliver a solution in challenging circumstances.
Working as part of a small dedicated team working all 4 car variants, Body Project Manager responsibilities include:
Development and realization of Body components and related systems based on CAD 3D modeling
Cost analysis & coordination of materials and technical support documents
Definition of development plans
Monitoring of the project-to-prototype construction phase + bench & industrialization testing whilst respecting quality and timing
Ensuring performance to achieve key qualitative and cost targets
Representing the Body team in round table discussion
ideal candidate for the role of Body Project Manager:
Solid interiors background
Degree qualified engineer with broad experience in the automotive sector and expertise in two or more areas of interior systems
Experience gained in a DMU and feasibility-study environment
Solid FEM coding experience
Dynamic, passionate, excellent problem solving skills, able to challenge and influence
Italian speaker or willing to learn Italian
