As the Software Developer Environmental Understanding & Decision Making your role will include:
– Development, implementation and maintenance of a modular AI-based simulation framework for autonomous driving applications
– Requirements analysis for both machine learning research as well as business customer requirements
– Derivation of a modular software architecture Interfacing with existing solutions
– Clean, efficient, and well-documented implementation of the simulation framework
– Development and implementation of test scenarios for both the simulation platform as well as machine learning algorithms
– Integration of machine learning algorithms into the simulation framework
– Code preparation for evaluation, use, and rollout Supporting our research scientists in developing new probabilistic modeling approaches
Your profile:
– Master in software engineering, computer science, data science, or related subjects; PhD is a plus
– Excellent programming skills, in particular Python, C++
– Experience in industrial production-quality software development and maintenance
– Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and principles, practical experience is a big plus
– Experience with Windows systems, experience with Linux is a plus
– Strong team player, highly self-motivated, interested in advancing the state of the art in machine learning modeling methods
– Strong English skills, motivation to work in an international environment
